Haustið er tími breytinga. Lífið tekur á sig aðra mynd og fellur í dvala. Litirnir verða fjölbreyttir og myrkrið skellur á.  Sveppirnir, líkt og annar gróður morkna niður og það er þá sem gaman er að taka af þeim myndir. Hattarnir brotna og þeir kuðlast niður í litla moldarhrúgu og hverfa að lokum inn í landslagið líkt og að þeir hefðu aldrei verið til. Þá bíðum við eftir vorinu.

Autumn is a time of change. Life takes on a different form and falls into hibernation. The colors will be varied and the darkness will strike. The fungi, like other plants, decay and it is fun to take pictures of them. The hats break and they roll down into a small mound of dirt and eventually disappear into the landscape as if they never existed.

A fungus (plural: fungi or funguses) is any member of the group of eukaryotic organisms that includes microorganisms such as yeasts and molds, as well as the more familiar mushrooms.
