In the middle of nowhere.
A black sand desert in the highlands, a river is supposed to slide slovenly but is frozen stiff and you will only hear the crack in the ice when it brakes.
This is a good place to “get away from it all” – the silence is absolute, even by bird calls as they think it’s too cold, and it is
