Geldingadalir at Fagradalsfjall Eruption │ Iceland Photo Gallery

Went up to the Volcanoes in Geldingadalur yesterday with 15 kilos of camera equipment on my back to check out the Volcanic eruptions and of course to take pictures. It was an impressive sight, although the eruption itself is not large. I did not intend to pursue overview images because there are plenty of them, but focus on the details that are often forgotten in the heat of the game, but are incredibly beautiful footage. Here is one picture of the 1,060 I took.

Geldingadalir are deep valleys with a wide lawn on the Reykjanes peninsula, near Fagradalsfjall. There is a small hill (well it was there) on the field and it is said that Ísólfur at Skála is buried there. He wanted to be buried in the valley where his sheep were so well off.

On the evening of March 19, 2021, an eruption began from a fissure in the valleys, the first eruption on the Reykjanes peninsula in 800 years.. . . All info at: https://www.patreon.com/RafnSig

I set the drone up in the air from my sundeck to see what the eruption was like this morning. This is what I got in through the lens.
