Þetta er einn af innrásarprömmunum sem bandamenn smíðuðu til að flytja hersveitir sínar til Frakklands árið 1944.
Óskar Halldórsson heitinn, keypti nokkrar af þessum lendingarprömmum eftir stríðið og lét draga þá til Íslands. Síðan þá hafa allir, nema þessi voru notaðir til hafnargerðar á þann hátt að þeir voru fylltir af steinsteypu og síðan sökkt.

This is one of the invasion landing craft, vehicle that the Allies built to move their forces to France in 1944.
