Sundhnúkagígar Crater row │ Iceland Volcano Landscape winter Photo from air

by: Rafn Sig,-

Sundhnúkagígar Crater row erupted around 2.500 years ago and are probably coming alive again after all the earthquakes that have been there for the past few months.

The Craters rows lies between Stóra Skógarfell and Hagafell not far from the geothermal Power Plant at Svartsengi / Blue Lagoon and the village Grindavík.

Sundhnúkagígar Craters are lot like nearby Eldvörp craters that are also under care of our scientists due to possible volcano activates.
